Hey Mama, I'm Rusti.
I'm a teacher with my Bachelor's and Master's degrees, currently earning my Specialist — but my favorite title is Mama. I have two boys in sports, so you'll usually find me in my classroom, at a ballfield, or trying to figure out how to be at two ballfields at once.
For a long time, I thought working harder was the only answer. But somewhere in the middle of it all, I was quietly wishing for something I couldn't seem to find… breathing room.
I wanted to be the mom who could say "yes" more often. Yes to the tournaments. Yes to the team dinners. Yes to family trips. Yes to making memories without constantly worrying about the cost.
Then life shifted. I've walked through more loss than I ever imagined, and it changed how I see time, money, and motherhood. My boys deserve to be deeply loved and present with — and I refuse to choose between providing and being there.
I wasn't looking for another course.
